Dumbarton Parish Church is a Church of Scotland congregation located in Dumbarton town centre at the end of the High Street, on the junction of Castle Street and Church Street. In addition to the main sanctuary building there is an impressive suite of modern halls, meeting rooms and kitchens which draw a wide variety of people, young and old, every day of the week, extending our Christian fellowship well beyond worship on Sunday mornings.

History
Worship has continued on the site of current church since medieval times; the first recorded mention of a church at this location was in 1372, but the discovery of the “Crusader” gravestone points to well established religious activities here by the late 11th century. St Andrews Church was formed following the post war development of new housing in the north west of Dumbarton. The parish of Dumbarton: Riverside was formed in the 1970s as the union of Dumbarton Old Parish Church, Dumbarton High Church and Dumbarton North Church. Knoxland Parish Church joined the union in the 1980s. West Bridgend Church joined with Dalreoch Church in the 1980s. The remaining 3 congregations in Dumbarton joined in union at the end of 2024.
