Coming to church on Easter Day

We’d love to have as many people as possible at church on Sunday to celebrate together the day that gives us strength and hope to come through the pandemic, and face up to all life’s other challenges. However there are government restrictions in place:  the maximum number of people allowed (including those leading worship) is 50; but everyone must sit 2m away from everyone else (unless you live in the same house/bubble) and no one is allowed into the gallery – which cuts our maximum capacity quite significantly.

Already it looks as though Riverside Parish Church may be approaching capacity. We would hate to have to say to anyone, “Sorry, you can’t come in, we’re at capacity”, but we have to abide by the government rules. If you can’t get in at Riverside there may be a spare seat at West Kirk or St Andrew’s – but again they may be close to capacity. Please be assured that we don’t like turning people away, and would hope to welcome you another week
