God is a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, long-suffering and ever constant, and he did not abandon us. Nehemiah 9: 17

In times past
God spoke through the prophets;
but in this the final age
he has spoken to us in his Son.

A boy has been born for us
a child has been given to us
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, the Prince of Peace.

Once we walked in darkness
now we have seen a great light

Tonight
this is the meeting place
of earth and heaven
this is the stable
in which God keeps his pledge
to meet his people
God has sent his Son among us
