It was mentioned in the News yesterday that 83 millionaires had written an open letter suggesting that higher earners should be taxed more to cover the costs associated with the pandemic. We are still some way from seeing how governments respond to the issue of paying for the measures they have had to take, and no doubt when they do start to make proposals there will be loud complaints from all sides.
